Progress Printing Plus, is seeking a machine operator to operate our perfect binders. We possess leading edge technology and quality team members, with a presence in our industry that spans fifty years. We believe in the power of print and its continuing ability to persuade and to drive our clients' revenues.

Duties of position include set-up, maintenance and daily operation of the machine. Must lead and direct activities of a crew, and understand the importance of meeting production and quality standards. Ability to read and interpret instruction from job tickets. Ability to independently operate equipment to achieve or exceed production, quality, and waste standards.

Strong mechanical ability a must. Must be flexible with shifts ability to work night or day. Five years of prior bindery machine operation experience preferred. Candidate must be willing to cross train, work overtime when necessary and work in various job positions based on workload. Basic math skills required, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, division and fractions if necessary along with the ability to read and use a ruler a must.

Must be able to lift 50 pounds. Must be able to stand for eight hours, bend, squat and lift. Must possess good vision with or without correction with the ability to distinguish colors.
